Roof Inspection for Storm Damage

Roof Inspection for Storm Damage
Florida is prone to severe weather, including hurricanes, thunderstorms, high winds, and hail. Central Florida, in particular, often faces these challenges. That’s why it’s crucial to have your roof inspected by a professional roofing company before and after every severe storm.
At 1st Roof Estimate, we understand the importance of post-storm inspections. We offer free inspections and a comprehensive overview of your roof with no obligation. Our team will inspect for all forms of storm damage and address any other concerns you might have.
In addition, we provide free Pre-Storm inspections. During this inspection, we assess your roof, take photos, and document its condition. This documentation is vital, as it can help prevent insurance disputes. Insurance companies may claim pre-existing damage or attribute hail damage to deterioration. Having pre-storm photos with timestamps can serve as evidence of the roof’s condition before the storm, helping to substantiate your claim.
As a HAAG Certified Residential Inspector, you can trust our expertise and commitment to providing thorough and accurate inspections.
Our Process and What to expect
Comprehensive Report: We will take pictures and/or video of any areas of concern and document everything in a report. Then, we will provide you with all the information you need to make the best decisions for your situation.
Honesty and Integrity: If there is no damage or issues, we will let you know. We will never recommend work that doesn’t need to be done.
Recommendations: Our trained professionals will advise you on what needs to be done and the steps to take if we do find damage.
Temporary Repairs: If we find missing shingles or you have a leak, we will tarp the area for you to stop further damage. This is important because the insurance company may not be able to come out for a week, so we need to prevent any interior damage.
